Our hallways were filled with pure magic today as the incredible Class of 2026 returned to where it all began for their Senior Walkthrough!
Seeing our graduates shining in their caps and gowns brought so much joy to our school. Our little Lancers were absolutely starstruck and looked up at these "big kids" with so much admiration and excitement. It was a beautiful reminder of where hard work and big dreams can take you. 🌟

From storybooks to real life! BCEL's Nature K classes had a special visit from Deputy Joe Fillmore of the Sheriff’s office. After his daughter mentioned the Kinders were reading "Career Day," he dropped by to share a bit about his job and connect with our students. Thank you for being a wonderful part of our community, Deputy Fillmore!
Up, Up, and Away with RE/MAX!
We had a fun start to our morning at Bullock Creek Elementary! A massive thank you to our local RE/MAX team for bringing such a high-energy, exciting, and educational program to BCEL.
Our students (and staff!) were mesmerized from start to finish. We learned so much during the informative presentation, but the real magic happened when the balloon began to inflate.....
Highlights of the morning included:
Watching that enormous balloon come to life right in our own gym!
We managed to fit all 330 students inside the balloon! And had so much more room left over!!
We loved the powerful sound and the warmth radiating from the burner outside as the pilot showed us how the burner worked.
Our very own Mrs. Bredt even got the chance to pull the fire and blast the burner!
We are so grateful to RE/MAX for providing this unforgettable hands-on experience for our Creekers. It was truly a morning full of wonder and inflated joy!

There’s nothing like the "egg-citement" of watching life begin right in our classrooms. Our students have been busy observing, documenting, and cheering on our newest feathered friends as they hatch.

Our students got a front-row seat to the magic of nature as they learned how to transform raw tree sap into delicious maple syrup. We explored the science of evaporation and were amazed to see just how much sap it takes to produce even a small amount of syrup!
We are so grateful for all the hard work Mrs. Pretzer put into boiling the sap so our students could experience this process firsthand. Thank you for making science so sweet! 🥞✨

Today BCELs 2nd grade students finally got their reward for winning the PTOs Coin Wars!!! Students were able to silly string Mrs. Bredt!!! 74 cans straight to the face!! Not a one of them aimed for the feet 😏😂

🤖🧱 LEGO First League Elementary Robotics at BCMS! 🧱🤖
What an amazing morning at BCMS as our elementary students participated in the LEGO First League Elementary Robotics Competition! Today was the celebration of months of hard work, learning, and teamwork—and our students absolutely shined.
Our young roboticists proudly demonstrated their skills in programming, problem-solving, and creative thinking, all while living out the LEGO First League Core Values:
✨ Discovery – exploring new ideas and learning new skills
🤝 Teamwork & Inclusion – working together and supporting one another
💡 Innovation – thinking creatively to solve challenges
🏆 Impact – sharing what they learned and celebrating each other
🎉 Fun – because learning is always better when it’s fun!

Yesterday, BCEL students were thrilled to be visited by Zero the Hero, our very own superhero, to help celebrate the 100th Day of School—a milestone that truly deserves to be celebrated!
The 100th day of school is a special moment because it represents 100 days of learning, growing, practicing, and persevering. Over the past 100 days, our students have built new skills in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving, while also learning how to be kind classmates, responsible learners, and confident individuals. Reaching this day is a big accomplishment, especially for our youngest learners, and it’s exciting to pause and recognize just how far they’ve come.
The surprise visit from Zero the Hero made the day even more memorable and fun, reminding students that hard work and consistency truly pay off. We are so proud of the effort, determination, and progress our students have shown during the first 100 days of school, and we can’t wait to see all they will continue to achieve in the days ahead!

Mr. Jerashen and his talented music students sang and danced their way into our hearts, filling the building with holiday spirit and joy. The kids did an amazing job—we loved hearing their voices singing loud and proud! What a wonderful way to celebrate the season and spread cheer throughout our school! 🎄🎤

All of the students were exceptionally well-behaved, joyfully sang along with the band, and showed genuine respect and gratitude to the musicians for sharing their talents. Watching them engage so enthusiastically was truly a pleasure.
A huge thank you to Ms. B and our incredible 7th and 8th graders for creating such a meaningful experience. This is truly one of our favorite yearly traditions, and a wonderful reminder of the magic of music and community at the Creek. 💙🎤🎼
