As warmer weather approaches, students are reminded to follow the dress code. Students should be aware of short shorts, skirts, and tops. The dress code policy is on page 6 of the student handbook.

May 16: 5th grade orientation at the middle school for Floyd and Pine River students.

May 13 - 21: The Dunkin for Dollar fundraiser begins! Purchase "throws" during all lunch hours. The Dunk Event takes place on Thursday, May 22nd. The student council puts on this fundraiser to purchase items for our school. Students can buy "throws" at lunch. Prices are as follows: $5 for 2 throws, $10 for 4 throws, $15 for 6 throws, $50 guaranteed dunk

May 19 - Sideline Cheerleading Parent Meeting and Signups will take place at the BCHS auxiliary gym from 6 - 7 pm.

Volleyball sign-up sheets are in the cafeteria for girls interested in playing volleyball Next Year at the middle school. Sign-ups will be open until May 29th. Athletes must have a sports physical on file in the office to participate.

Robotics applications are in the office for students interested in joining the Robotics Team Next Year at the middle school. Robotics will have two teams, consisting of 15 students each. Space is limited! Applications are due at the middle school office by the end of the day on Friday, May 23rd. The first robotics meeting will take place on August 25th. There is also a team fee of $40 that is due by October 1st. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Olivares at joneskm2022@gmail.com.

Students are encouraged to check the lost and found table, which is located outside the cafeteria. There are so many things students have left behind - shoes, boots, clothes, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc. In the office, we have a ring that was found in the bathroom and an earring that was found in the hallway.

Northern Lanes is hosting its Kids Bowl Free summer program. Students can bowl up to two free games every day. Registration postcards are in the office for students to take home.
