There is no school on Monday, May 26th.
There will be a meeting for any 8th grader interested in HS football on Wednesday, May 28th at 5:00 in the HS Cafeteria. Coach Orr will be there to provide info on summer workouts and fall practices.
Next week the only day the HS weight room will be open after school is on Tuesday, May 27th. It will be closed after school the remainder of the week/school year due to the altered HS exam schedule.
Students who didn't purchase a yearbook with their picture package may purchase one in the office for $15. Yearbooks are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be handed out on the last day of school.
The 6th grade class will take a field trip to the Midland Roll Arena on Tuesday, May 27th. Students will eat lunch from 10:15 to 10:45 and leave for the trip shortly after. Students should arrive back to the middle school around 1 pm. Please check your email regarding details about this trip.
8th Grade Recognition will take place on Tuesday, May 27th at 6:30 pm. Students need to be lined up by 6:15 pm. Cookies will be served after.
8th grade students will go to the high school in the afternoon on Tuesday, May 27th to practice for 8th Grade Recognition. Students will be dismissed from the high school to go home at 2:25 pm. If you pick up your student, please do so at the high school.
The 8th grade class will be taking a field trip to Mackinac Island on Thursday, May 29th. Students need to arrive at the middle school between 5:30 am and 5:45 am. The bus leaves promptly at 6 am. Students will be ready to be picked up at 6:30 pm at BCMS.
The last day of school is May 30th. BCMS will dismiss at 11:00 am.
On Tuesday and Wednesday next week, it will be Chef's Choice for lunch.
On Thursday, May 29th, we'll be serving Bosco sticks with a marina cup, celery, fruit, Baked Chips, and milk.
There is no lunch served on the last day of school.
Students are encouraged to see Mrs. Fermoyle if they're interested in attending Culinary Arts Camp, Healthcare Camp, Basic Skilled Trades Camp, and Advanced Skilled Trades Camp. The Midland County Educational Service Agency is hosting these camps.
Students can also volunteer at the Chippewa Nature Center to earn volunteer hours. Students must be between the ages of 13 - 17 to volunteer. This is for middle school and high school students.
Northern Lanes is hosting the Kids Bowl Free summer program. Students have the opportunity to bowl up at two free games a day. Students can stop by the office and pick up a postcard to get registered.
Bullock Creek High is hosting Boys & Girls Basketball camp, along with Girls Volleyball camp. Registration forms are in the office. Forms and money can be turned in to the middle school, and we'll send the form to the high school.
Robotics applications are in the office for students who want to participate in Robotics next year at the middle school. Robotics is open to all students in all grades.
Cross Country sign-up sheets are in the cafeteria for students interested in participating next year at the middle school. Students are encouraged to get a sports physical over the summer if they want to participate in Fall sports. Sports physicals are available at the middle school office and also on the Bullock Creek website (bcreek.org) under the Students Tab. Then select Sports Forms.
