One of Floyd's most special days has become the close of KinderCamp and our Reveal Day. This is when all students and staff line the halls while our 5th graders have the honor of escorting our kindergartners to their new classroom family. 🖤💛

Floyd Elementary's day one of KinderCamp was filled with lots of new experiences. From the morning meeting song, learning and playing with new friends, a soggy recess (Hello, worms! 😍), lunch in the community room--students handled it all beautifully. See you in the morning!

It's that time of summer where things are falling into place--shiny floors, rooms ready for setting up, spruced up nature areas, and a playground waiting for the return of my Floyd friends. I am missing you all! See you soon! -Mrs. Moses
As if field day isn't fun enough with all that Mrs. Kristy Chaffin plans for us, this year Floyd students were treated to a seemingly endless supply of ice cream bars from Mr. Steve Jenkins and party music by one of our own students and aspiring DJ, Anthony. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us.
Oh, happy day! Floyd first graders had a great time dipping at the pond with Mrs. LaCourt and CNC's Mr. Ian. They found frogs, a newt, and even tadpoles with back legs.
