BCHS Announcements

The Hero meeting was pushed back a week and will be next Monday, March 6th.

Attention students interested in utilizing the weight room - It will be open and supervised on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 to 3:45 from now until the end of the school year, as long as BCHS is in session. Students should plan on making arrangements for a ride to leave campus at 3:45 when the weight room closes.

The Peer-2-Peer team will have free facial and personal care products for you to make tomorrow during lunches.  Products include scrubs, masks, and more!  Please stop by and enjoy creating your own, FREE products.

Listen up athletes - The spring sports meetings will be this Wednesday, March 1st.  Sign up sheets are on Mrs. Huntoon's desk, and are moved to the cafeteria during lunch hours. You must be signed up by tomorrow in order to attend the meeting. 

There will be a Peer-2-Peer meeting after school this Wednesday, March 1st.

The Adventure Begins! DnD club will meet Thursday, March 2nd for Session One of our Adventure. If you are interested in joining, but have not been to a meeting before, there is still time! See Mrs. Clare in room 6B! 

Seniors - Herff Jones will be at BCHS this Friday, March 3rd to deliver graduation items. If you ordered special announcements, thank you cards, etc. they will be available to pick up during lunches. Please make sure you have paid your balance for these items prior to March 3rd. Graduation caps and gowns will be distributed closer to graduation.

Are you looking for an amazing Prom dress or suit? The Midland Chapter of Becca's Closet will be hosting several days for you to choose a free special outfit for Prom. You can stop by Midland High School on the following dates and times: Sunday, March 5th from 1:00pm-4:00pm, Wednesday, March 15th from 6:00pm-8:00pm; Sunday, March 19th from 1:00pm-4:00pm, and Monday, April 10th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Looking to show off your volleyball skills? Sign up to compete in the class of 2024 Co-ed Volleyball Tournament. Sign ups are available in the Counseling and Main Offices through Friday March 10th. The cost is $5 per player and for spectators upon entering the gym on the day of the event. The tournament will be held on Saturday March 11th in the Main Gym and teams will be picked “gym class” style that day. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Long or Daisy Schwartz.

Are you an Olympian? Join the Bullock Creek Math Olympics Team and travel to SVSU for Math Olympics on Friday, March 17th. Email Mr. Milligan to learn more and to join the team.

A HUGE congratulations to the girls bowling team who won second place in regionals and the boys bowling team who won third! Both teams will be advancing to the state finals this Friday in Jackson. Another congrats to Brooklynn Marshall, who won second place in girls single tournament, Anthony Davis, who placed ninth in the boys singles, and Harley Rewerts, who placed 10th. They will be competing in the singles tournaments on Saturday. Creek Nation is proud!
