Bullock Creek High School

Dear BCHS Families,
 
There is a lot going on at the high school this month and to stay caught up with everything that is going on, see the Bullock Creek website (bcreek.org) for information, daily announcements and a calendar of events.
 
1.  The optional PSAT/NMSQT will be taken (for those who have signed up for it) on October 18^th.
 
2.  In sports this week...Men’s Soccer is playing the second round of districts in Gladwin next week, BC Equestrian is competing this weekend in the State competition in Midland, and Men’s Tennis is competing in Regionals today at the Midland Tennis Center. 
 
3.  Students who may be interested in Hockey...see the attachment.
 
4.  Winter sports sign-ups have begun.  The sheets can be found in the main office.  Sign-ups will close on the day of our Winter sports meeting (October 25th).  The following are our winter sports offerings;  Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Bowling, Competitive Cheer, Hockey & Wrestling
 
5.  Good attendance at school is crucial for student success and we want all students to attend regularly.  In the event a student must miss school, the provided attachment outlines our attendance policy and may answer questions you might have about how missing school will impact your student. 
 
6.  Vision screening for Freshmen begins on October 26^th.
 
7.  No school on November 7^th.
 
8.  Thank you to our Creekers for a Cause group for putting together a great Pink Out volleyball game and supporting families in our district.
