Dear BCHS Families,
1. Tomorrow – Friday, January 12th is a ½ day for students. BCHS dismissal will be at 10:45am
2. Monday, January 15th – NO SCHOOL
3. Attached is the exam schedule (there was a mistake regarding lunches on the previous version).
4. Exams scheduled for January 17-19 – permission slips to leave after the last exam on Friday can be picked up and turned back to the main office.
5. BCHS is offering upper-level math and science tutoring during our Tuesday ASI. Please see the attached letter if you’re interested in either tutoring.
6. CTE OPPORTUNITIES:
Bullock Creek High School will be offering three Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes for next school year, Construction Trades, Wood Working, and Educational Careers. However, your child may request to enroll in a different Midland County CTE program.
On Wednesday, January 31, interested sophomores and juniors will be transported by bus to different CTE programs throughout Midland County. We will leave Bullock Creek at 8:00am and return around 11:00am. If your child would like to visit one of BCHS’s CTE programs, they will be out of class from 8:00am-9:00am (Construction Trades) or 9:00am-10:00am (Educational Careers and Woodworking). While we will notify your child’s teachers and the Attendance Office of this absence, your child is responsible for collecting and completing missed work.
If you would like your child to participate, they can pick up a permission slip in the Counseling Office. Completed permission slips are due back by 11:00am on January 25 to the Counseling Office. All meetings will be held in the BCHS Auditorium.
