Hey juniors & seniors - Thursday, December 9th, we will have a representative from Northern Michigan University come here for a visit. If you are interested in attending or learning more about Northern, please sign up in the Lancer Lounge.
The time has come to hold the annual Food Drive to help families in need. We will be collecting food for these families now until this Thursday, December 9th. Please bring toiletries, boxed items, or canned goods. Bring your items to your sixth hour in order to receive points for your class. Toiletries are three points, boxed items are two points, and canned goods are one point. The class with the most points wins a pizza party for their sixth hour class. The second and third place prices are to be determined. Anything would help and it would be greatly appreciated.
Bullock Creek Educational Careers class is doing a WINTER COAT DRIVE. They will be collecting new or gently used coats, waterproof mittens & snow pants. Items collected will be distributed to Bullock Creek’s three elementary buildings, for students in need. They will be collecting until Friday, December 10th. For donation drop-off locations, check the poster or contact Mrs. Boman at bomane@bcreek.org.
Juniors and seniors who are interested in taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery -ASVAB- should sign up in the Counseling Center by Tuesday, December 14th. The ASVAB is a timed, multi-aptitude test that helps the Department of Defense not just determine whether you are a good fit to join the service, but also which service branch you might be best for and even what military jobs you can hold after you finish basic training or boot camp. Stop by and see Mrs. Brown if you have any questions.
ATTENTION SENIORS!! All senior photos are due on December 22nd. Senior portraits must be a head and shoulder shot with no hats or props. For senior baby photos, send in your cutest option. If you currently have a sibling attending high school submit a picture of you together to be included in the yearbook. If your parents want to include a special note about you in the yearbook, have them place a senior pride ad. To submit your pictures, you may email a file to Mrs. Discher at discherr@bcreek.org. You also may put the photo in an envelope and bring it to Mrs. Discher in room 5E. All photos will be returned to you. Contact Mrs. Discher with any questions!
