BCHS - First Day of School Reminders

Dear BCHS Families,

Just a few reminders for the first day of school. (Monday, August 29th)

  • BCHS doors unlock at 7:20 am and students may enter the building at that time.  See the attached daily schedule for class times.
  • Parking passes will be issued at the end of the first week.  During that time, students may park in any available spot in the student parking lot.  Annual parking passes will be sold in the office for $30 – please know the make, model, color, and license number to complete the paperwork.  Students must have a pass and will need to use assigned parking spots beginning on Tuesday, September 6th.
  • Yearbooks – any extra yearbooks we have will be sold starting on the second week of school.  Those that have pre-ordered books – please see Mrs. Discher.
  • School breakfast and lunch prices for the 2022-23 school year…
  • BCHS is offering 3 new classes this year.  Please contact your counselor if you’re interested in any of the new offerings.  They will help you determine if that course is a good fit.
    • Web Design
    • Music Appreciation (will fulfill the VPAA, Visual&Performing Arts credit needed for graduation)

      • Course Description:  Students will be introduced to the different aspects of music including how music relates to culture, history,  and science. Styles covered will include modern music genres as well as older time periods and music of America and other countries. This course includes an intro to music reading, playing music together, and learning some of the major masterworks of the different time periods in music. The course is meant to offer students experiences and instruction in music. Students need no previous experience in music.
