Midland County is celebrating "Neighboring Week". How can you be a good neighbor? One way is through volunteering in our community. During lunch time tomorrow, we will have a Volunteer Fair. Representatives from Midland Area Youth Action Council, Chippewa Nature Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and West Midland Family Center will have information available about how you can help out right here in our community.
Tomorrow, Northwood University is hosting a college fair with over 50 colleges and universities from Michigan represented. ALL students are welcome to come to the Hach Student Life Center at Northwood University from 6pm to 7:30pm.
Hey Juniors and Seniors - On Thursday, Sept. 29th a rep from Aquinas will be here at 1:45. If you would like to meet with the rep, please sign up in the Counseling Office. Also, the US Army National Guard will be here on Friday, Sept. 30th for a lunch visit. Stop by during your lunch break to say hello.
Did you know that October is Michigan College Month? We will be kicking off Michigan College Month with College Application Day on Monday, October 3rd! ALL seniors please remember to bring your social security number since it is required for most applications. Stay tuned for more events and prize opportunities!
On Wednesday, October 12th, BCHS will be administering the PSAT/NMSQT. Students in 9th-11th grades are invited to register for this assessment. During 11th grade, students taking the assessment have the opportunity to compete for a National Merit Scholarship. The test is $20 and students can register in the Counseling Center. We will register students through October 7th or until the 55 tests are reserved. If you have any questions, please stop by the Counseling Center.
