BCHS

Dear BCHS Families,

Just a few quick notes to share.

1.  Parent/Teacher conferences are next week.  I would encourage you to sign up for a conference time with your child’s teacher.  This is a great opportunity to meet the teacher, ask questions and discuss your son or daughter’s academic progress.  The first evening is face-to-face and then second evening is virtual.  We hope that one of these options will work for everyone.

Please use the below link to sign up for a conference time…

Tuesday, October 4th https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FA9AB23AAF8C70-bchs6
Thursday, October 6th https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FA9AB23AAF8C70-bchs7

Mrs. Krawczak (Suurmeyer) is unable to host conferences on Thursday so she has time available on Friday, October 7th.  Families interested in meeting virtually with her may use the following link to sign up.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FA9AB23AAF8C70-bchs8

2.  ASI (After School Intervention) Help is available for students who need it.  Please consider encouraging your student to take advantage of ASI.  This program runs every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-4:15.  They can get help on homework, have a quiet place to work or make up tests.  ASI is held in room D11.  See the attachment for additional details.

3.  October 7th – ½ day for students.  BCHS will release students at 10:45.  No lunches will be served.

4.  Rachel Tallon is our college adviser this year.  She’s a great resource to help students plan for what’s next after high school.  She can help with college planning, trade school or any other type of training after graduation.  An easy way to meet with Ms. Tallon is to sign up for a conference with her on the 4th or 6th of October.  You can find her availability at the bottom of the conference sign up sheets.

Have a great weekend!
