Attention anyone interested in boys basketball and not currently playing a fall sport - There will be open gym from 3 to 4 this Wednesday in the Auxiliary Gym.
Hey juniors and seniors - Don't forget that Clarkson University and Douglas J. Aveda will be here for visits this week. It's not too late to sign up to meet with them. But wait, there's even more exciting news. A rep. from Ferris State University will be here on Monday, October 24th at 1:00 and a rep. from Alpena Community College will be here on Tuesday, October 25th at 1:00. Sign up in the Counseling Office if you would like to learn more about any of these schools. Be on the lookout for the Army National Guard as well. They will be back for a lunch visit on Thursday, October 27th during all lunch periods.
The BCHS Talent Show is returning this fall, November 17th. An informational meeting for anyone interested in participating will be held THIS Wednesday, October 19th after school in the Auditorium at 3:00. Now is the time to start planning, preparing and rehearsing! We are hoping for a variety of talent and entertainment. See Mrs. Bossenberger, Mrs. Murray, Mr. Shields or Mr. Tisdale if you have any questions.
Attention any BC student wanting to participate in a sport this winter - There are sign-up sheets available now on Mrs. Huntoon's desk in the main office. There will be winter sport meetings at the end of the school day on Wednesday, October 26th, if you would like to attend that meeting and get information on your winter sport you must be on the sign-up sheet in the main office.
This past weekend the Bullock Creek Equestrian Team competed in the State Finals placing second in division B. The team had a great season and worked really hard to inch their way up in the placings. Individual placings include:
· Lilly Spann with 2 first places and 3 additional top 10 placings
· Ella Wood with 2 first places, 3 seconds and 1 additional top 10 placings
· Landyn Edwards with 3 top 10 placings
· Layla Wood with 1 first place, 1 second place and 4 additional top 10 placings
· Jordyn Edwards with 2 seconds and 2 additional top 10 placings
· Claire Andrews with 1 first place and 3 additional top 10 placings
· Carissa Wittke with 1 first place, 1 second place and 2 additional top 10 placing
· Zuri Bennette with 1 first place, 1 second place and 1 additional top 10 placing
· Elle Hale with 3 top 10 placings
