BCHS

Dear BCHS Families,

Happening this week at the high school…

1.  Congratulations to BCHS Girls’ Volleyball for being district champions!  They play in Regionals on Tuesday in Gladwin against Cadillac High School @ 6:00 – Good luck.

2.  See attachment for the November lunch menu.

3.   Thanks to a grant from the Midland Area Youth Action Council, Bullock Creek High School, in conjunction with Self-Love-Beauty, will be hosting a series of three free workshops for our students.  These workshops will focus on building confidence and self-esteem, helping students to discover their talents, building communication skills, and learning skills to become more resilient.  Each workshop will be held on our half days of school, December 2, February 17, and March 10, 11:00am-3:00pm.

Lunch will also be provided.  If you would like to register your child for these workshops, please email me at brownj@bcreek.org.  Please include their shirt size as a free t-shirt is included for participants.  Please register by Thursday, November 10.  Space is limited to 20 participants.  A flyer with additional information is attached.

There is also a flyer attached for Mentors.  If your child participated in these workshops last year, there are 10 limited spots for past participants to serve as mentors for this year’s workshops.

4.  The Class of 2024 is planning a Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser at the Midland location, Address: 6728 Eastman Ave, Midland, MI 48642, on Wednesday November 30th, 2022. This fundraiser is to raise money to be used for prom food, decorations, DJ, photographer, venue, etc. this spring.

Our hope is that as many BC community members as possible can visit the restaurant any time during the day on November 30th and 20% of the proceedings will be donated to the prom fund.

Most importantly, in order for a group or individual's bill to count towards our fundraiser, a digital or physical copy of the attached TICKET must be shown to server.
*See ticket attachment

5.  Just a reminder that all students need to be out of the building and on their way by 3:00pm.  This does not apply to students who have scheduled, supervised activities in the building.  Ensuring any students remaining on campus be supervised helps us make sure they’re safe, secure and involved in a productive activity.  Thank you for your cooperation.

6.  NO SCHOOL – Tuesday, November 8th

Have a great weekend!
