BCHS Announcements

All boys interested in playing basketball this winter, a reminder to return paperwork to Coach Freeland. There will be open gym for boys basketball players in the Main Gym today after school until 4:00 and tomorrow, Saturday from 6 to 7 pm.  

A reminder to all athletes planning on participating in a winter sport - Make sure you have a Sports Physical completed and handed in to the Main Office and registration completed with FinalForms before the first day of practice. 

 There will be a canned food drive today and Monday, to help out the Art Department. There is a team of your fellow students competing in a canned food sculpture contest. Please help by bringing canned food to donate for this County wide effort to help with local food shortages. All food will go to the local pantry and be passed out in our County. The sculptures will be at the Midland Mall from Nov 9th through Nov. 13th. Bring cans to the Main Office or Art Room today or Monday. Many cans would be appreciated.

Come support your fellow classmates in the Drama Club's fall play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The show will run tonight and tomorrow  at 7 pm, and Sunday it will start at 2 pm. Admission is $5 and will be performed in the BCHS Auditorium. 

Hey Juniors and Seniors - The University of Michigan-Flint representative will be here for a visit on Monday, November 7th at 2:00. This visit was rescheduled from last week. Sign up in the Counseling Office if you would like to meet with her.

Ok all you talented Creekers - Get your acts together and get ready for the Talent Show auditions. They will be on Monday, November 7th after school in the Auditorium, and will start promptly at 3:00. See Mr. Shields, Mrs. B, Mrs. Murray or Mr. Tisdale if you have any questions.

Rotary Youth Exchange Family to Family - Short Term Exchange Program (STEP) offers high school students a unique opportunity to experience another part of the world. During a summer, the student spends 3-4 weeks abroad with a family and reciprocates by hosting the “sibling” from Europe for 3-4 weeks when they return home to the states. If you are interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, stop by the Lancer Lounge for a flier.

Seniors - Do you need help with the FAFSA? MI Student Aid is putting on 30-minute virtual financial aid nights! Use the QR code on the posters to register! More information can be found in the Lancer Lounge. Delta College is also putting on a variety of financial aid events. Look at the posters and in the Class of 2023 Google Classroom for more information.
