On behalf of the Bullock Creek Board of Education, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who helped with the August Primary election and the passage of our District’s Operating Millage. Thank you to all that took the time to vote, those that shared information and everyone that helped make this possible. We appreciate all who help guided us to this win for the families and kids we serve in the Bullock Creek School District.
I say often this but it is important to share again. I feel so blessed to live and serve in the Bullock Creek Community. Bullock Creek has always been such a supportive community and I do not take the passage of these tough ballot decisions lightly. Again, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your contributions to this process. It is definitely another Great Day to be a Lancer!
Thank you,
Shawn J. Hale, District Superintendent

Congratulations Bullock Creek Little League Softball! State Champions!

Mrs. Pat Sweebe graciously donated perennial flowers and plants to our nature program. Students from Ms. Collison's room planted them. They will continue to be cared for and enjoyed by all of our students at Floyd. Thank you Mrs. Sweebe!

A perfect day to help close out the school year! Pine River Elementary's Field Day/Picnic Day was well attended and 500 hot dogs were consumed. Thanks to all of our great parent volunteers who made this event possible!

Pine River Elementary 5th grade has created ceiling tiles with local attractions painted on them. These are going to be put up in the ceiling at Lara’s 2 Go, formerly Owen’s Party Store.

Floyd wrapped up another Girls on the Run season with a 5K this morning. Lots of smiles and confident girls filled the streets. Thank you to our volunteer coaches (who are also Floyd teachers): Carolyn Brown, Emily Collison, and Ellie Stark and to all our families and running buddies who supported GOTR and cheered them on today.

Floyd third and fourth grade students visited Grace A. Dow Memorial Library recently. They learned about the variety of items that the library has to offer. In addition to books, cds and dvds, there are board games, yard games, puzzles and more. All for free! Each student was able to pick a new book to take home at the end of the tour and activities.
