Here's a special deal for our folks looking for some elementary spirit gear--including the nature program.

🎉✨ Homecoming Spirit Week is OFFICIALLY underway, and we’re starting strong with… WACKY HAIR DAY! 🦄💇♂️ From hair that defies gravity to colors that belong in a box of crayons, our hallways are looking fabulously funky today. 🌈😂
We can’t wait to see all the school spirit continue this week—let’s go, Lancers!!

The students and staff at Pine River kicked off Homecoming Week with hilarious hair-dos inspired by the musical Hairspray.

Floyd 3rd graders are learning ways to defend and protect Michigan. They took the opportunity to walk around our school and pick up trash. ♻️🗑️🍃

This week our school counselors attended day one of a three year professional development journey to grow our capacity to lead a continuous and sustainable school counseling program across Bullock Creek.

Bullock Creek Middle School students received a special message from magician and motivational speaker, Anthony Grupido. His story, The Magic of Hope, was told through magic and discussed important topics such as: resilience and coping with challenges, healthy ways to manage symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, the importance of asking for help by using school and community resources and finding hope during difficult times. This event was put on in collaboration with BCMS’s PeerLIFT program and Community Mental Health for Central Michigan. Students showed their support for Suicide Awareness and Prevention by wearing purple and teal today.

Mrs. Diaz and her 3rd graders are using Play Doh to figure out the tough distributive property.

Another great night of volleyball vs Meridian! All of our teams played well and had a great time competing!

Thank you to all of our staff and WMFC for helping to teach bus safety!

Every single day, our teachers pour an incredible amount of care and love into their students. 💛 They take the time to learn each child’s needs, interests, and unique personalities so they can connect in meaningful ways. In the moments when students need that extra connection, our teachers are right there—making them feel loved, safe, and valued. 🌟 We are so grateful for the abundant love our teachers bring into their classrooms each day! 🍎✨
Thank you, Mrs. Chappel, for all of the love you pour into your students!

Students in Mrs. Parson's Nature Exploration class had some fun with apples this past week. They were able to run 2 different cider presses and make cider, prep apples for applesauce and plant the seeds that they collected.

Sixth grade student council campaigning at BCMS is in full swing! Students will vote for the four representatives this Friday. Awesome job with your creative and convincing posters!

The Pine River Elementary runners had a beautiful morning for a run at the Delta Invitational. Two runners ran 2 miles and the others ran 3/4 of a mile. They all ran hard and finished strong!

Congratulations BC Varsity!

Our Midland Township fire department is holding their open house today across from BCEL from 10-2pm. Stop by to enjoy all the firetrucks and fun activities!!
